Hello, my name is Leslie. I am a Certified Integrative Medical Iridologist, Holistic Health Practitioner, Reiki Master, Intuitive Artist, and the founder of Whole Healthy Self LLC.

My work is rooted in a simple but powerful intention: to help people understand their bodies so they can support themselves in creating true, lasting health and balance. Over the past 16+ years, I’ve learned that no two healing journeys are the same. Treating people as if they are can often lead to more confusion and frustration. At the same time, there are patterns, connections, and underlying imbalances that show up across many paths and part of my work is helping you uncover your unique combination of what your body needs to heal, regulate, and thrive.

My journey into this work was born from lived experience. In 2003, after a traumatic event and with a list of 19 different diagnoses, I was bedridden, unable to walk, work, or care for myself or my children. For years, I was completely dependent on the medical system, following protocols that ultimately left me feeling disconnected from my body and without real answers. In 2011, after my doctor was dismissed for overprescribing, everything shifted. What felt like a crisis became the beginning of my true healing journey.

Through a combination of deep research, prayer, determination, and alternative approaches, including medical cannabis, nutritional support, detoxification, nervous system regulation, and a wide range of holistic and spiritual practices, I was able to safely come off 12 prescription medications and remain off of them permanently. Over time, I rebuilt my health, processed trauma, and reconnected with my body in a way I hadn’t experienced since my youth. That journey is what allows me to truly understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed, dismissed, and searching for answers, and also what it takes to come back into balance.

In 2022, I felt a strong pull to deepen my understanding of the body through the lens of the eyes. That curiosity led me to study Integrative Medical Iridology through the Medical and Health Sciences Institute under the guidance of Renee Davenport, CIMI, CHHP, and Dr. Roberto Rodriguez. Their work in elevating and standardizing this field deeply resonated with me, and I completed my certification as an Integrative Medical Iridologist in October of 2022. I am also board certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Today, I bring together both my formal training and my lived experience to support others in understanding their bodies on a deeper level. My approach is integrative, intuitive, and rooted in the belief that your body is always communicating with you. My role is to help you listen, interpret those signals, and guide you toward the choices, tools, and practices that support your version of a Whole Healthy Self.
